Our stated enemy eats with his right hand, wipes with his left, all the while living behind adobe walls getting ready for his next prayer moment. We are a country that can place a man on the Moon, send a robot to Mars where information is returned, and do micro surgery on a human's brain...yet these 13th century thinking people have us stymied as to how we might define a "victory" and what would be part of such a definition. I especially like it when an MRAP comes rolling into a walled community where a soldier disembarks wearing his "I'm a prick" sunglasses while offering up COIN "hearts and mind" games played some 45 years ago in those jungles many of us came to love and adore...yea right!
