Transcranial Direct-Current Stimulation
Nature of Program: Trancranial Direct-Current Stimulation of ('tDCS") uses a novel neurostimulation intervention to target dysfunctional processing of fear overgeneralization. This program - currently in a study phase - seeks to develop cost- and time-effective interventions for Veterans suffering from PTSD.
Type of Program: Medical Study
Training Frequency: Currently is a study phase, tDCS has been shown to effect positive change within five non-invasive consecutive sessions.
Number of Veterans Receiving Treatment: Currently in test phase.

Financial Considerations: Total budget including procedures and personnel is $190,000.
